Putting the Die in Diet

Several week have gone by on my quest to build a better body and I have finally hit the bitter plateau!

Arrgghhh! Over the last 2 weeks I have not lost anything..not one pound, one iota, one molecule.

Is there anything more frustrating than going full bore on an intense workout/diet program and not seeing anything happen?

I think the first thing I am seeing suffer/waiver is my commitment..I am not missing any of my training sessions, but my meal plan has started to suffer. I mean, seriously, if I am not going to lose weight ANYWAY, I might as well be eating something I enjoy, right?

Wrong…and I really need to find some tenacity here in a hurry. I know it took about 4 months to put the 17 lbs on this summer (OMG, those home-made Mohitos were soooo good!!), so it will take some time to get this back off.

(Um, did I mention I was going to Cuba in a few weeks?)

I have researched the causes of plateauing and have done some stupid things to break it that I won’t even confess to here..I think that I have to get back to being forgiving of my body and be patient..

And skip the ice cream cake. .  .
