A couple of weeks ago, I embarked on another skirmish in my own private battle of the bulge.
Like most women, I have fought the ups and downs of the bathroom scale, attributing my success to ice cream, french fries, childbirth and hectic work schedules. It has been a lifelong battle and one I am now convinced I am never going to win.
Not willing to throw the towel in completely, I enlisted the help of Andre Avigdor, my local fitness hero and cherished friend. He and his lovely wife Natalie own several Anytime Fitness locations in the area I live in and I knew they could help me find some willpower to go another round.
Andre put me in touch with a fitness/bodybuilding competitor name Coco Kissak. Coco had just moved to Ontario from out west and Andre was luck enough to snap her up as a personal trainer/manager/employee for his gyms.
Coco has kindly taken me under her wing and has inspired me in the ways of diet, exercise and willpower..I am excited to see what will be happening for me and my body over the upcoming weeks!
